Dunedoo Piggery

Apart from the wholesale division and retail butchery, owner Frank Bresnahan also owns a piggery, Bullinda which is located in Dunedoo. Frank oversees the breeding of his pigs, lambs and cattle which are all sold in his retail shop.

Bullinda is located at Dunedoo which is about 380 kms west of Sydney. It is a 3000 acre piggery that produces on average 1100 pigs per breeding cycle. Controlling the breeding, manufacture and distribution ensures product quality. Given that Something Nice’s hams and bacon are award winning products, it is important that strict guidelines and procedures are followed in the breeding of our own pigs. The result is juicy, tender and sweet ham and bacon products.
